Meet the Doctors

Dr. Keeney

Dr. Susan Keeney has practiced small animal medicine since 1995, all except 2 of them in Las Vegas. Her particular interests include internal medicine, particularly endocrinology (hormone medicine, such as diabetes, thyroid problems, and steroid issues), as well as spaying and neutering to help prevent pet overpopulation. Dr. Keeney believes in training, socialization, and preventative medicine and strives to provide high-quality and patient-friendly service. She is always looking to better herself, her hospital, and her medicine.

Dr. Keeney's love of dogs has followed her home with a pack of 3 fur babies: Joie, a food-motivated 12-year-old Rottweiler Mix, Ultimate, a 9 1/2 year old frisbee chasing Border Whippet Mix, Ozzie, Dobby, a 9-year-old vocal Dachshund Mix.  In addition to her love of animals, Dr. Keeney enjoys spending her free time outdoors hiking and playing frisbee.

Dr. Keeney can be reached by email at [email protected].

Inspired by a family veterinarian, Dr. Aleksandar Janjic knew from a young age that he wanted to dedicate himself to the challenging yet rewarding field of veterinary medicine.

He graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Belgrade University, Serbia. After moving to the USA ten years ago, he gained valuable, hands-on experience in every position within an animal hospital—from kennel attendant to Licensed Veterinary Technician—before earning his DVM license via the ECFVG program.

Dr. Janjic's clinical focus areas include surgery and ophthalmology. In his personal time, he enjoys traveling and is a lifelong enthusiast of basketball.
